These are the original Gallo de Leon feathers directly from Spain. Javier Escanciano has made it his mission to revive the well-known chicken breeds that are very popular with fly tiers and to secure their future.
The feathers are harvested by hand and selected according to different quality grades.
The Pardo Golden and Pardo Corzuno Mix each contain 12 feathers of varying brightness levels.
Pardo feathers are particularly popular with fly tiers for nymphs. The fibers of Pardo feathers are perfect for realistic nymph tails. The natural grain looks extremely seductive in the water!
