The Flexistripper is an easy-to-use alternative to a traditional stripping basket. Compared the Flexistripper features no sides, but has other advantages over the traditional basket. The Flexistripper was developed and produced by Danish Bjarne Fries a long time ago and everyone at Ahrex has used it for as long as it’s been on the market, which is why it made sense for us to buy the rights to the production and launch it as a (lovely blue) Ahrex product. PLACEMENT For a right handed caster the most natural placement of the Flexistripper will be slightly to the left, and for a left handed caster slightly to the right. How much depends on personal preference, and in strong sidewind, you can move the Flexistripper further to the side to keep it out of the wind. Under normal conditions the belt is carried around the hip. When wading deeper, simply move the belt up on your torso until the Flexistripper clears the water. The flexible high quality neoprene belt makes this possible with no or very little adjustment. USE As you retrieve line, simply let go of it over the FlexiStripper. The long flexible pegs will catch the loops of line. If the line hangs over the sides of the FlexiStripper, just let it – the flexible pegs will still release the line with very little resistance.
