CDC Mayfly Emerger
The Mayfly Emerger is one of the best mayfly patterns ever! This pattern developed by Gerhard Laible reproduces the exact moment when the mayfly nymph breaks through the surface. It is precisely at this moment that the trout often feed on the hatching insect. We recommend fishing this pattern very actively on the surface. The size # 11 is more of a mayfly pattern than a real "Danica" mayfly.
CDC Mayfly 2.0
The CDC Mayfly 2.0 is a true Danica Mayfly pattern. The body colour has the typical danica colour. The wings are made with a mixture of deer hair and cul de canard fibres. The floating abilities are very good! This pattern needs to be in every may fly box!
Stealth Link Green Drake
The STEALTH LINK fly pattern is the latest invention from fly tier Mike Mercer. These flies ar incredibly catchy and almost always lands correctly on the surface of the water due to the way it is tied. It is an extremely catchy group pattern for mayfly and caddisfly patterns. This pattern can be particularly effective with very shy fish. No glitter whatsoever ensures that even experienced fish take the fly unmolested. Color: Green Drake
French Partridge Mayfly (olive)

King Wedgewing (Isonychia) (6 pcs)
Unique Mayfly Adult. It’s amazing that after centuries of creative fly tying, most mayfly dun imitations look nothing like the natural. Mayflies have skinny, tapered bodies and a sailboat wing that angles back, in line with the body, like a wedge. It took Jonny King two decades a fiddling, fussing and frustration to figure out how to create that exact wedgewing profile using staple tying materials, like hackle, synthetic yarn and CDC, in a unique construction. The Wedgewing is so close to the natural that you may have trouble distinguishing your fly from the real BWOs and PMDs that float alongside it, but the trout consistently pick it out. Recent conquests include some outsized bankfeeders on the Delaware that refused dozens of other patterns, and sneaky sippers that ignored other mayfly imitations on western tailwaters. Content: 6 pcs

Missing Link Green Drake Mayfly
The Missing Link: Your Indispensable Dry FlyAn exceptionally versatile and effective dry fly that no fly box should be without. If we could only take one fly to the water, over 90% of the time, we'd choose a Missing Link. This incredibly successful dry fly, developed by Mike Mercer, has become a "secret weapon" among many fly fishers. Originally designed to imitate an emerging or dying caddisfly, it has proven capable of mimicking a wide range of insect stages. The Missing Link is more than just a dry fly – it's a true group pattern for mayflies and caddisflies! Its outstanding effectiveness comes from its ingenious imitation of various insect stages within these crucial groups. The wings of the Missing Link are positioned to mimic the wings of dying insects resting on or just below the water's surface. This helps the fly float upright and entices even the most selective fish. The unique profile gives fish the impression of a safe and attractive meal. The Missing Link is the ideal choice when you're looking for a reliable dry fly that coaxes fish to strike in diverse situations and even under challenging conditions.

Tippet Rings (Pitzenbauer Ringerl)
These small, extremely strong rings were made public by the famous fly fisherman Edgar Pitzenbauer and used in the grayling fishing. Meanwhile, these rings have spread all over the world among fly fishermen. They are tied to the end of your leader (conical, braided or linear) and allow you again and again to re-tie your leader at the end, without shortening the length of the leader. The individual rings are rounded inside and out and are therefore very smooth. These rings have no solder joint. Thus, a "break point" was prevented and the surface remains very smooth. The rings are extremely light and durable. Also suitable for floating leaders. Especially modern Nymph fishermen use these rings in an enormously wide range of applications. By using it, you will ultimately save money, as your leaders will only have to shorten their fly changes in the front leader material. In addition, the field of application is very diverse. You can use these rings to tie in Springer flies or pike felts, or even use them when drop shot fishing. Recommendation: we strongly advise you to use the rings when using Fluorocarbon leaders / leader material in combination with regular nylon, as this material is apt to cut through the surface hardness of other types of nylon. With a leader ring that does not happen anymore. Even with the use of polyleaders / Versileaders the use of the leader rings is recommended because it no longer shortens the polyleader and the life can be increased enormously. CDC Mayfly Emerger

Mayfly – The Queen of Flies in Fly Fishing
The Mayfly is one of the most important insects in the lifecycle of a river or lake. Its annual hatch triggers spectacular feeding frenzies among trout, grayling, and other fish species.
For fly anglers, this means: Now is the best time to fish with a mayfly imitation!
Why Are Mayflies So Important?
✔️ Primary Food Source: During the mayfly hatch, even large, cautious trout rise to the surface.
✔️ Easy Prey for Fish: The large flies drift slowly on the water, giving fish plenty of time to take them.
✔️ Natural Appeal: A realistic mayfly imitation can be highly effective on the right days.
The Best Mayfly Imitations for Success
✅ Dry Fly Mayflies – Perfect for **surface fishing** when trout are actively rising. Realistic patterns with upright wings are ideal.
✅ Emergers & Klinkhamers – When fish are selective, partially submerged models work particularly well.
✅ Mayfly Nymphs – Before hatching, mayflies are highly sought-after as nymphs. A realistic nymph imitation can make all the difference.
Tips for Fly Fishing with Mayflies
🔹 Use the right fly at the right time: Fish are highly selective regarding the development stage of the mayfly – Dry Fly, Emerger, or Nymph?
🔹 Gentle Presentation: Large trout are cautious. Cast with fine leaders and avoid making a splash.
🔹 Know the hotspots: Calm shallow water zones and transitions to deeper areas are often prime spots for rising fish.
