Film: Sight Fly Fishing on What May Be Germany's Best Trout River
In May 2025, Sebastian Endres and Benny Dittmann from Fisch & Fang magazine visited the Chiemgau region and spent two days on the Bavarian Traun River.
Both are experienced fly fishermen and documented their fishing trip on camera. The result is an atmospheric film about fly fishing on the Traun in May.
Clear channels, fast currents, and deep pools characterize this waterway. It is precisely there that the two demonstrate how they fish the Traun and what matters most.
They are occasionally assisted on the water by Rudi Heger and Ralf Raacke.
The film conveys an authentic impression of fishing on this well-known Bavarian fly-fishing water.
