RIO’S TAPERED TARPON LEADER has been designed for the ultimate in performance when tarpon fishing. Most tarpon leaders are level with a shock tippet on the front end. RIO’s Tapered Tarpon Leader has a fully tapered leader running down to the shock tippet, which gives far better turnover and presentation than level ones. The leaders ends with a 2ft length of shock tippet for protection.

Treated lines will cast farther, remain clean longer and float higher than untreated lines.
