TRAUN RIVER Specialty MICRO SNAP Pike Leader with knotable steel wire
As a protection against biting through this leader has a tip of knotable steel wire. At the end of the steel wire is a MICRO SNAP size L. The transition between the nylon leader and the bite-proof tip is solved elegantly by a leader ring. This leader has proven a hundredfold in pike. It is simply run into the fly line.

Once you have tightened down your knot remove the Micro Snap from the split ring keeper 2Hold the Micro Snap with the longer end of wire pointing upwards and feed the eye of the fly onto it. Carry on moving the fly alonog the wire until you pass the securing point, bring the fly into the end position and you are ready to fish!
