The Powerful Tube Fly for Pike & Huchen
The Predator Candy Tube – Firetiger is a modern, performance-oriented tube fly designed specifically for fly fishing for large predators such as pike (Esox) and huchen (Hucho hucho). With a length of approximately 21 cm, this striking streamer presents an attractive, substantial profile that reliably triggers even cautious trophy fish.
The tube streamer is equipped with a Traun River pike hook in size 3/0 as standard. Depending on the target species, the hook can easily be replaced. For dedicated huchen fishing, we recommend upgrading to a stronger hook such as the Tiemco TMC 600 SP.
Thanks to its tube construction, the risk of losing a fish during the fight is significantly reduced, as the hook is not fixed within the fly body and offers greater freedom of movement under pressure.
