CDC Stonefly

Große Steinfliegen, wie die Arten der Gattungen Perla, Perlodes oder Dinocras, kommen nicht in allen Gewässern vor. Wo sie aber in relevanten Zahlen leben, bringt ihre Schwarmzeit im Frühsommer ganz ausgezeichnete Fischerei. Denn diese großen Insekten locken auch steigfaule Kapitale an die Oberfläche. So ist diese CDC zwar ein spezielleres Muster, das aber an vielen, schneller fließenden Flüssen im Alpenraum beste Einsatzbereiche findet. Alle Steinfliegen schlüpfen außerhalb des Wassers an Gestein, Schwemmholz, Pfählen, Mauern usw. Sie sind den Fischen als Emerger nur ausnahms- weise verfügbar. Erst wenn sie bei ihren gelegentlichen, immer behäbigen Schwirrflügen aufs Wasser geraten, werden sie fischereilich interessant. Vor allem aber, wenn die großen Weibchen zur Eiablage auf das Wasser zurückkehren, unübersehbar dicht über die Strömung flattern und sich immer wieder darauf niederlassen, um portionsweise ihre Eier abzulegen. Bei der für diese CDC-Stonefly-Imitation notwendigen Größe wurde vor allem auf größtmögliche Leichtigkeit geachtet. Für den deutlich segmentierten Körper kam nur ein langschenkliger, relativ feindrahtiger Haken in Frage. In Verbindung mit V-förmig gespreizten Deerhair-Bunchflügeln und einer CDC-Deckfeder bringt diese Bindeweise die notwendige Funktionalität: Das Muster ist drallfrei zu werfen und schwimmt gut. Und es hat eine glaubhafte Kontur. Einsatzbereiche sind alle Gewässerpartien, an denen die großen Stein- fliegen zu beobachten sind. Gefischt wird die CDC-Fluttering Stonefly wie ein Hopper. Man läßt sie, unterbrochen von ruhigen Driftphasen, über die Oberfläche schlittern.
