This hook is perfect for all brook crab and caddis fly imitations. Due to the slightly stronger wire, the fly sinks well. Nevertheless, we recommend additional weighting, e.g. through lead winding wire. In addition, the hook is very well suited for glo-bug / egg flies. Due to the strength of the wire and the large hooks, the hook is perfect for large trout.
This hook is also very used in carp fishing.
Corresponds to the design of the TMC 2487, but here a 2 x heavy wire was used.
