Warm Fly Fishing Midlayer
The Patagonia R2 TechFace Pullover is a warm and breathable midlayer designed for fly fishing in cooler conditions. Built specifically to be worn under waders, its grid-fleece interior provides warmth while the stretchy fabric allows excellent freedom of movement when casting.
The R2 TechFace Pullover is a great choice for long days on the water, cold mornings and changing weather conditions. After fishing, it doubles as a comfortable and warm everyday pullover.
Designed to Wear Under Waders
When fly fishing, freedom of movement and moisture management are essential. The breathable R2 TechFace double-weave fabric is made from 92% recycled polyester and 8% elastane. The stretchy construction provides comfortable mobility when worn underneath breathable waders.
Gusseted underarms further improve freedom of movement and help keep your casting stroke unrestricted.
in High-Wear Areas
Patagonia added abrasion-resistant overlays to the shoulders and cuffs. These reinforced areas help reduce wear from wader suspenders, backpack straps and sling packs.
A water-repellent DWR finish made without PFAS helps shed light moisture.
Practical Features for Fly Fishing
The secure zippered chest pocket is sized to hold a fly box. A large kangaroo pocket provides storage for gloves, a beanie and other essentials while offering a warm place for cold hands.
A half-length front zipper makes temperature regulation easy. The warm three-panel hood is generously sized to fit over a cap, while a soft zipper garage at the chin improves next-to-skin comfort.
