Poly Yarn Indicator

Pro Strike Indicator
Where else could the idea to use impregnated wool for a strike indicator come from, other than New Zealand? Our set included tool, rubber tubing and impregnated indicator yarn (DWR Indicator). It's simple to use: 1: Form a loop in your leader using the tool2: Slide this tubing, which you slid onto the tool before starting, over the end of the loop 3: The loop is now ready4: Insert the required length of indicator yarn into the loop5: Push the tubing over the indicator yarn. The strike indicator is ready to use and can be positioned on your leader as needed, by simply sliding it into position. The indicator can be removed from your leader in the reverse order, without the tool, and used again. Tool Length: 6.5 cm

DWR Strike Indicator
This highly visible strike indicator, treated with Durable Water Repellent impregnation, floats particularly well. It is simply run onto the leader and slides without resistance through the rod guides. For light fishing it can be divided lengthwise. By combing out the wool, the volume of the indicator can be increased. Ideal also for the Pro bite indicator.

We’ve found that black indicators work well when the sun is lower on the horizon or under overcast skies that are reflecting on the water. For situations where the indicator is moving from water with a dark refection into an area with high glare we recommend putting two indicators on the line, one black and one chartreuse or white. The white or chartreuse indicator is easy to see in the dark area and the black indicator is easier to see in the high glare area. Glow-in-the-dark strike indicators give you the option to extend your time on the water. Glow-in-the-dark strike indicators help you see strikes better in the arly morning evening and into the night. Kahuna Lt Strike Indicator Pack
RIO’S KAHUNA LT is an ingenious and subtle strike indicator made of a piece of high floating fly line with the core removed from the middle, leaving an empty tunnel. Simply break off the required length of indicator and thread the leader though the tunnel. Each packet contains a simple wire threader to make this easier. The end result is an incredibly sensitive strike indicator that grips on to a tapered leader and stays in place without any damage to the leader. Each packet contains 3, 1ft length of Kahuna LT in Chartreuse, Orange and White. Use a waterproof marker to color the white indicator to any color you like. RIO recommends the "thin" indicator for calm water and smaller flies, while the thicker one will be more easily visible in rougher water and lower light.
