RIO’S Premier FATHOM LINES are a series of sinking lines designed specifically for the lake angler. Each line has a short, quick-loading head for minimizing the number of false casts, and for quick, easy distance, and a color contrast between the head and the running line to easily show the line’s loading point. In addition, each line is built with a Hang Marker that shows anglers when to stop stripping, and when to fish the “hang”, and features RIO’s “Density Compensation” (except type 7) for complete fly control. The latest version of this line is equipped with RIO's proprietary SlickCast Coating. The slickes line on the market!

eine Schnur die Spaß macht !....mehr geht nicht

Seit geraumer Zeit fische ich die Rio-Fathom im Stillwasser ( ich fisch 99% im Stillwasser! ) vom Belly-Boot aus und bin mega-zufrieden mit der Schnur,warum? Sie bietet mir alles was ich mir von einer Sinkschnur erwarte:....d.h.,sie fliegt gut + weit,....sie sinkt fix,...die Haptik ist sehr angenehm,...auch bei niedrigen Graden gut zu händeln.Die Keulenlänge ist grad für's Belly-Boot perfekt,nicht lang rummachen sondern 1-2 Leerwürfe und raus damit.Vom Gewicht her lädt sie auch eine fixe-5er schnell auf.Sie bringt die Streamer-Lures-Fry's schnell auf Tiefe.......und Weitwürfe: 25m+ sind kein Problem ( ich fisch gern weit + tief ). Ich freu mich jeder Mal wenn's wieder heißt:......es geht runter ;-)

These shorter version of the 15 ft tip are ideal for shorter rods, tight casting situations, or smaller rivers.
