MDC Tips are the smoothest casting sink tips you'll ever throw thanks to RIO's Multi-Density Control tech. MDC is a system of split densities that creates seamless casting tapers that maximize sink rates where they matter - closer to the fly.
The RIO MDC interchangeable tips offer a progressive design in terms of sink rates. MDC stands for Multi Density Control. Different sink rates within the interchangeable tips allow for direct contact with the bait and absolute depth control. The 18ft tips are designed for heavier two-handed rods. MDC Tips sync perfectly with RIO's Elite Scandi Body but they also pair well with short-head Skagit systems.
