MDC Tips are the smoothest casting sink tips you'll ever throw thanks to RIO's Multi-Density Control tech. MDC is a system of split densities that creates seamless casting tapers that maximize sink rates where they matter - closer to the fly.
The RIO MDC interchangeable tips offer a progressive design in terms of sink rates. MDC stands for Multi Density Control. Different sink rates within the interchangeable tips allow for direct contact with the bait and absolute depth control. The 12ft tips are designed for switch and light two-handed rods. MDC Tips sync perfectly with RIO's Elite Scandi Body but they also pair well with short-head Skagit systems.

- MDC = Multi-Density-Control: Multi Density Control is a combination of different density coatings along the length of a fly line. These different density coatings give anglers complete depth control when swinging a fly on a river, and perfect contact right to the fly. The exceptionally smooth, continuous blend in density changes results in extremely smooth loops while casting.
- Progressive Density Design: Makes the tip sink faster where it counts (closer to the fly)

This is a small eyelet which helps you to change flies without having to tie a knot! It't this simple: 1Attach your Micro Snap, without a fly, onto your tippet.
