We’ve found that black indicators work well when the sun is lower on the horizon or under overcast skies that are reflecting on the water. For situations where the indicator is moving from water with a dark refection into an area with high glare we recommend putting two indicators on the line, one black and one chartreuse or white. The white or chartreuse indicator is easy to see in the dark area and the black indicator is easier to see in the high glare area. Glow-in-the-dark strike indicators give you the option to extend your time on the water. Glow-in-the-dark strike indicators help you see strikes better in the arly morning evening and into the night. We have nymphed and dead drifted streamers under glow-in-the-dark indicators with great success.
