Tungsten Split Case BWO Nymph
The Tungsten Split Case BWO is a realistic nymph pattern designed to imitate the early emergence of a Blue Winged Olive (BWO) mayfly. Its distinctive split wing case reveals a narrow strip of olive foam, representing the nymph's wing case opening during emergence.
The tungsten bead adds weight, making this pattern an excellent choice for trout and grayling. Particularly effective during BWO hatches, it works well as a dropper beneath a dry fly or when fishing nymphs in the middle and upper water column.
