Statutory rights and guarantees

Your statutory rights in respect of defective goods remain unaffected. They apply against the seller under the applicable law and may cover manufacturing, workmanship or material defects. This service offer does not constitute a separate manufacturer’s guarantee.

Previous trouble free use does not, by itself, exclude a defect claim. Damage caused solely by accidents, excessive strain, improper use, intentional damage, loss of a section or later modifications is generally not a defect for which the seller is liable. Each case must be assessed individually.

TRAUN RIVER Repair Service

For the rod series listed below, we offer replacement of damaged sections outside statutory defect claims. The service fee is 49,00 € for single handed rods and 99,00 € for two handed rods, including shipping costs. These fees do not apply to statutory remedies for defects.

How to use the service

1. Send the complete rod so that we can check the fit of the replacement section.
2. Enclose a copy of your invoice. To help us process your request, add a short description of the damage and your contact details.
3. Send the rod to Rudi Heger GmbH or hand it to your specialist dealer.

For four piece rods, sections are numbered from the tip to the handle: 
tip section = 1, next section = 2, next section = 3, butt section = 4.
