The new version of our Watermaster Waders accomplishes this on a number of fronts: First, our proprietary waterproof/breathable polyester microfiber fabric package with H2No® Hydrostorm barrier is quantitatively more puncture resistant than the competition. Then, because wet is wet, whether it comes from inside or out, we use lighter, more breathable fabric up top and a tougher version below. Finally, and not to be overlooked, the improved version of our innovative internal suspension system makes it easier than ever to, uh … relieve yourself without taking off jacket or vest. Something to consider in a driving rainstorm. It all adds up to an incredibly dry, durable and lightweight pair of waders. In other words, Watermasters. Field repair kit included.

3-layer H2No^® fabrics are waterproof and breathable by virtue of an advanced combination of elements: a water-repellent shell fabric, a waterproof barrier and an interior scrim fabric. This fabric package is completely waterproof, windproof, breathable and very durable.

H2No^® is Patagonia's standard for 100% waterproof and breathable protection in our shell garments. H2No is created by adding a waterproof and breathable laminate or coating to a high performance protective fabric. This fabric package blocks wind and water on the outside while allowing water vapor generated by your body to escape – keeping you warm, dry and comfortable..

The Chota STL-Plus is a combination of both of these advantages.

In a very robust felt sole the Chota has 14 hard synthetic inlets. These threaded inlets allow you to screw 14 spikes into the sole of the boot as required. These durable spikes come included with the boot naturally. The Chota STL-Plus is a lightweight, highly durable,very comfortable wading boot with abrasion resistant toe and heel protection. The padded upper edge of the neck and the soft tongue make this boot exceptionally comfortable to wear. The large synthetic eyelets and the new Quick-Lace-System allows a very simple and rapid lacing of the boot.
