TRAUN RIVER Super Tippet

In our opinion Traun River Products Super Tippet is the best tippet material available today.

It has excellent knot strength and can be stretched simply, using your thumb and forefinger. Visibility in water for fish is hindered by its subtle grey smoke colour.

The Traun River Products Super Tippet comes on 25 Meter spools (approx. € 0.20 per Meter). To protect the nylon from ultra violet rays every spool has a foam ring cover around it.

For practical use we recommend using the Tippet Sampler tippet material dispenser with built in cutting station. This is available either filled  with Super Tippet or empty.

Ulra Violet Protection
Monofilaments enemy is ultra violet light. It was important to us to supply our customers with a tippet that is protected on the spool from ulra violet rays. This has been achieved by wrapping a thin foam ring around the spool which also secures the end of your tippet material and helps you to find it quickly.

Suppleness
Even though it has an extremely high tensile strength our Super Tippet remains very supple.

User Friendly
The Super Tippet spools are designed to simply slip on to the Traun River Products Tippet Sampler or the Traun River Products Leader Dispenser.

Visibility
Super Tippet can be used for even the most wary fish. The inconspicuous colour (transparent smoke grey) is almost invisible in water, even when its floating on the surface.
