Wildlife Preservation on the Weiße Traun River
| To prevent any danger to fish while a large new power line was bedded under the river on Sunday (2 March 2008) we fished the area with an electronic fishing machine. This provided us with an insight into the number of fish in this area, we were very happy to count a large amount of young fish and a high proportion of Brown Trout amongst the fish caught and later released. The largest fish was a well fed Rainbow milter of 73 cm.  A serious fish  Hard at work  Working in cold water  Oh come on, help me out! |
